Zula Holliman Bobo Zula Holliman Bobo, 99 of Columbus, MS passed away Monday, June 5, 2011 at OCH Regional Medical Center, Starkville, MS. Visitation was held Tuesday, June 7, 2011 from 6PM – 8 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. Graveside services were held Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 10 AM at the Millport City Cemetery, Millport, AL with Bro. Larry Davidson officiating. Interment was in Millport City Cemetery, Millport, AL; Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS directing. Mrs. Bobo was born November 30, 1911 in Pickens Co., AL to the late William Green and Ella Jane Sims Holliman. She was a resident of Columbus, MS for the past 45 years having moved from Detroit, MI. Mrs. Bobo retired in 1971 as a seamstress with Belk – Hudson. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church, Columbus, MS. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bobo. Mrs. Bobo is survived by her daughters, Ellen (Justin) Hudson, Tuscaloosa, AL; Nan (Laroy) Rushing, Starkville, MS; four grandchildren, Michael (Tammy) Bryant, Union, MS; Scott (Jlulie) Bryant, Biloxi, MS; Bonnie (David) Boatwright, Columbus, IN; Shelly (Dave) Bretheim, Jackson, MS; five great grandchildren, Samantha Bryant, Natalie and Danielle Bretheim and Thomas and Brennan Boatwright and one great granddaughter, Alyssa Raye Putnam. Pallbearers were Michael Bryant, Scott Bryant, Justin Hudson, David Boatwright and Dave Bretheim.
